This pack is built to provide sustained power delivery for electric gliders, motor gliders, and lightweight sport aircraft without unnecessary weight penalties.
3-Cell (11.1 V) Configuration
Gives your motor and control systems sufficient voltage to climb quickly and handle variable flight loads.
2200 mAh Capacity
Offers longer flight time compared to smaller soaring packs, allowing more time aloft before the battery becomes limiting.
30C Discharge Rate
Supports a current draw of up to ~66 A in bursts—ideal for climbs, transitions, or thermal finding without voltage collapse.
Optimized for Soaring & Efficiency
Created for applications where weight, balance, and drag must be carefully managed; this pack strikes a balance between capacity and lightweight structure.
Quality & Construction
Built with premium-grade LiPo cells, tight tolerances, and a robust shell to handle flight-induced vibration and stress.
Low Internal Resistance
Reduces voltage sag during sustained draws, maintaining more consistent power delivery to the motor and servos.
Electric gliders, sailplanes, and motor gliders
Sport or trainer aircraft where weight is critical
Models using assisted launch or high-energy maneuvers
UAV or FPV gliders requiring reliable, efficient power
With the Gens Ace 2200 mAh 3S Soaring LiPo, you get the edge in flight time and climb capacity without undue weight. It’s exacting enough for serious hobbyists and reliable enough for carefree flights. Whether you’re hunting thermals, performing power-assisted glides, or just enjoying longer flight sessions, this battery is a dependable ally in the sky.
A lithium polymer battery, or more correctly, lithium-ion polymer battery (abbreviated as LiPo, LIP, Li-poly, lithium-poly, and others), is a rechargeable battery of lithium-ion technology using a polymer electrolyte instead of a liquid electrolyte.
Key Features to a Li-Po Battery
High Energy Density: LiPo batteries offer a higher energy density compared to other lithium battery types, meaning they can store more energy for their size and weight.
Flexibility: The polymer electrolyte allows for greater flexibility in battery shape and size, making them suitable for various applications.
High Discharge Rate: LiPo batteries can deliver power quickly, making them ideal for applications requiring high power output.
what is the C rating for?
The C rating dictates how much current the Li-Po can supply under max load. Here is how the math works.
Example: 1000mah Li-Po with 30C rating can provide up to 30 amps of current. A 1000mah Li-Po with 50C rating can provide 50 amps of current. A 5000mah Li-Po with a 10C rating could provide 50 amps of current.
Warning!
LiPo batteries can also be discharged at higher rates, which means they can provide more power for applications that require it. The main disadvantage of LiPo batteries is that they can be dangerous if not used properly. LiPo batteries can catch fire if they are overheated or damaged
