The Grampus rear driven 2WD RC brushless monster truck is simply an untamed beast because of its powerful brushless motor and excellent tyre grip. If this car had not included a wheelie bar it would spend most of its time on its back! HSP have gone the extra mile to ensure a reliable car by delivering the raw brushless power through a slipper clutch assembly which is also adjustable so you can tune the slipper to your driving style. Should you find yourself unable to tame the beast, parts availability is also excellent.
The HSP Grampus RC monster truck has an extremely good reputation locally and internationally so it's no surprise that this car wins RC-King's respect as one of the most enjoyable cars ever stocked.
HSP have included their bullet proof radio system so you are assured of a glitch free, solid connection with the car at all times.

MhMarcel havenga06 Dec 2024great truck with tons of enjoyment to be had. but it has some caviats youd like to know of before you buy. 1. be ready to replace the stock wheels if you want any decent controle 2.this thing is 3s ready but 3s wil destroy your drive cups , spur gear , pinion gear , drive shafts and list keeps going just dont go 3s there are no stronger parts for this car it will not last on 3s stay on 2s if you want more than 50kmh buy something else, 3.set the rear shocks top hole out one and add an extra spacer ring to help you manage wheelys better caus its a wheely monster truck. 4. buy yourself a servo upgrade off the bat the stock one dies quikly and its not expensive to replace. 5. this rc is a version of the buggy and what makes that great is you can convert it to buggy and back by just changing pinnion and wheels and if you want body wich is a great 2 in one for a person like me whom likes to take things apart and it be great to buy those parts up front so you can switch between race styles. all in all i couldv saved myself allot of trouble knowing these things out front but it remains a freakin beast rc and is a great buy.

We fully agree that the stock servo should be upgraded. We also agree that the car should not go 3S as the spur gear will strip almost immediately. We are working on getting an upgrade steel spur gear and pinion gear for the HSP Grampus and Mongoose which will change the driving experience of both of these cars. dramatically.

Marcel havenga 13 Dec 2024i would love to see someone make an effort to make those drive cups thicker and with stronger steel as they are trash and they are the one big downfall of this vehicle - if i play once a day on a field on 3 punch setting it eats drive cups in less than a week to a point where the drive shafts start to break so really need a better drive cup in this car to make it a viable racer without destroying it

RSRuan SchoemanI Recommend this!05 Apr 2023I emailed RC-King asking for a recommended spares list for the Grampus as I wanted to buy some spare with the truck when I place the order. I received an email with all the recommended spares that one would need to get started. I placed my order and received the truck a few days later. I have not yet had time to give it a run but it was packed really well with all the extras I bought. I received an email also with all the links to several YouTube videos of how to setup the truck and how everything works and links to more spares if needed. As a newbie this is really awesome and did not expect this. I am supper impresses and will keep supporting this company. Well done!!!Supper service!!
